Failure is something every person experiences. How we handle it depends on our beliefs about our self. It affects our business success and personal life. If we have a past, and everyone does, those experiences can create a story that repeats in our minds and shows up as physical illness. This is part of the body – mind connection, but there’s more. It manifests in the Now.
Business Success Manifests In the Now
The Now is our current awareness. Whether it’s ruled by past events or not this stream of thoughts and actions is the Spiritual self-action taking place. It’s how we are living today. I don’t know about you but leaving the past in yesterday is fine with me. Yes, I have wonderful memories, yet they shouldn’t dominate our present reality.
Everything You Think Manifests In the Now
Immaculée Ilibagiza, a young Rwandan woman, was concealed in a small bathroom with other women during 
her countries’ genocide. Her family all killed she could have given up still she lives in the now speaking and writing about her faith in a higher intelligence or Spirit protecting her.
Rather than wallow in the past, she uses it to express the things she wants to stand up for, and Immaculée doesn’t let it define who she is. When we think about business success, it’s hard to see the connection. The simple truth is, did you lose everything in the past, she did. Maybe you learned things that help you today to be stronger, to have faith. Either likely don’t match up to her past.
Finding business success is more about how you live today. It’s the act of using what you know and the inner strength you possess than worrying about how things will turn out this time.
This Acronym will support you in building business success that manifests in the now.
ACT For Business Success
- Is for Act. Act on your choices and your beliefs. If you’re following someone else’s ideas, then you’re not supported by your own internal wisdom. Slow down and find yourself. No one has ever had real success in business by using another person’s ideas. I had a coach once that wanted me to take a book I had already published and rewrite it. He wanted me to make one version for women and another for men. He totally ignored the book I wanted to write and the workshop I planned. His idea was for me to do a ‘quicker’ book launch. It failed because my heart wasn’t in it. Looking back all of his books are done this way and don’t sell. Business success comes with work and
shortcuts usually, fail because you’re not focused on what you want.
Act on what you want. If you don’t feel focused and passionate, then stop and ask yourself why not. Only move forward when you know what you want. This isn’t saying you have to know all the steps to your business endeavor it’s suggesting you believe in what you are doing.
2. Connect with your inner wisdom. Often we feel it’s necessary to connect with like-minded people or people that can help us while we ignore our inner voice.
The first person to build a relationship with is our own Spiritual self. I am not speaking of religion this is that energy or source we each feel is us. You have it, and I have it. It’s that voice that speaks to you as you almost step off the curb during rush hour but something inside you pulls your foot back; then a driver turns the corner not stopping at the stop sign while barely glancing at the road and texting.
That intuition does more than save your life it’s always there, but usually, we’re so busy speaking to our self that we don’t let it get a word in edge-wise. It doesn’t live in the past and for that matter the future; it is only here in the moment.
When we engage in Body-Mind-Spirit Living, we create business success and happiness. It manifests in the now which is reality or life.
3. Trust yourself. We look outside of ourselves for people to connect to, to trust, or to tell us what to do before we act. This is backward! First and foremost, business success is entirely dependent on you, not another person – even if you’re an employee. While a company may have an owner and you’re a cog in the wheel, that wheel turns because of you using ACT.
When we create a world of drones someone has to control them, and this becomes a dictatorship. As individuals living in the past lets that story we carry around and the people in it control us. It’s a heavy bag of garbage ready to be dumped, or it becomes your own private dictator ruling your decisions around your business.
Business success doesn’t start with the blueprint, the mastermind group, or the funding. It began the minute you stepped into wanting to build it or have a career. Where is your heart, how is your passion and are they attuned with your goal?
All this manifests in the now, and that is what creates business success.
