 Everything you do in life do it with excitement and passion. ~ Debra Arko The other day my husband and I decided to start a diet again you know to lose that extra few pounds we gained way back at the holiday season and still haven’t lost. As we started looking at the program he sighed looking depressed at the short list of foods we could eat and said, “I really don’t like diets.” Between the tone of his voice and the look on his face it was clear he wasn’t very excited or passionate about releasing the weight though he really wanted to be healthier and thinner. It’s not that we are obese we just gained more than is healthy. How to go about even simple or hard tasks in our life is important.Our inner language and our self-talk can throw us out of the game. We must approach the things we do with excitement and passion or affect the outcome and our ability to grow and fulfill our goals. Your inner game has to be dead on with your desire to achieve them. A negative inner game will de-focus your efforts and get you swinging at the wrong balls life throws your way and you will strike out. Turning the conversation around I suggested we focus on the things that excite us about losing the extra 10 pounds we’d both put on. How about fitting into my favorite clothes for one?  I really can get excited about this because then I think about the other option of buying new clothes in a bigger size. What woman doesn’t like to shop or at least buy new clothes it’s more a matter of I have better things to do with my time and my money. I would rather use my time on travel, getting my services out to my clients in the best way possible and yes helping others are all better uses of my time. And as I just pointed out time is important. If I lose the extra waist and butt luggage as I refer to it, I don’t spend time in the future going to doctors when my health declines for weight related issues and I save money on possible future medical bills. Passion and excitement are more though. It sounds way easier here than it is. So how do we get our game on more often than not? It takes active, critical thinking on your part. In simpler terms watch what you say out loud for a day and then a week. Every comment of, “I don’t like to do that, or that’s not my thing can be your way of talking yourself out of something. Chart how much your self-talk is stopping or holding you back. Use the ‘R’ from the ARKO Success Academy to reset and record the right belief to help you unleash your potential. Bring excitement and passion to everything you do and watch it multiply the fantastic outcomes that await you!.

With a herd you have to hire wranglers to keep your herd from becoming lost or worse yet wandering away to another herd. What information are you giving away to your employer for little or next to nothing?  Are you an accountant, attorney, admin assistant, a housewife, a cook, a carpenter? Anyone has the ability to make millions that includes you unless you have been living under a rock and I almost would bet you someone would want to know more about that. The first thing is to actually look at yourself. What is it you do everyday. While it may not seem important to you or new or exciting it could be to someone else. Let’s take an administrative assistant. While you may be looking to make more money and ‘get out’ of the business selling your professional expertise to others entering this market who want to someday be the person behind the CEO of a large global business showing them how you moved up the ladder, what you did that made you stand out will earn you millions and make you the go-to person for this community. What is your Business Potential IQ? “No matter what the level of your ability, you have more potential than you can ever develop in a lifetime.” ~ James T. McCay Think about it (You’ll hear me suggest to intentionally think about things often). If what James says is true then you and I – everyone for that matter has limitless potential. It’s not something that leaks out of us as we get older or goes away because we don’t use it. We all are born with a limitless supply of it.  It can be suppressed or beaten down but your potential never stops. All that stops is your time. We all have a finite time on this planet in this lifetime. When we don’t use our potential to bring us unlimited success, happiness, and harmony it doesn’t stop working. It brings us what we ask for. Intentionally Thinking is something you actually are doing all the time. You chose to think about the way your boss talked to you yesterday and how frustrated you were. You think about the party and what to wear, and hope that the new guy talks to you and asks you out. We even go as far as to plan out in our minds eye that ‘Becky’ will come over like she always does and sabotage your chances with the new guy and we imagine our boss coming back tomorrow saying we still haven’t gotten the project correct by his standards because that’s what we expect him to do. Quit. Quit planning out the worst and intentionally think about the best possible outcome. Correct Intentionally Thinking releases your limitless potential and allows you to fulfill your destiny. What if… You wrote out your life plan?  Laid out where you want to be in just five years or better yet ten years and then broke it down into five years, three years and what you plan to do this year.     Your potential is hidden not lost. It acts upon your conscious and subconscious thoughts to fulfill what you believe and think about. What potential future are you creating right now?  Is it the future you desire? Every time we smile at another person, say “Hello” to someone, carry on a conversation or even purposely ignore someone, we are communicating. To become an entrepreneur you must learn to effectively communicate verbally When verbally communicating there are questions, commentary, editorials and more happening at lightning speed. What we don’t see is our body language or non-verbal cues. All of this together tells our listener what we really want to say. This is why learning to speak intentionally can have a huge impact on your success as an entrepreneur. Stepping back before we answer is a good motto to hold onto. It doesn’t mean waiting so long the other party thinks we don’t understand; it’s thinking BEFORE answering. How do we do this? Simply Practice Take one breath in and out slowing while thinking first about the question and then what you want to say before saying it. With practice you’ll become a natural. Tools: I use a set of question cards I made for my clients. They select one a day and read the question using this practice step. Then I have them write out a dozen for me! Learning how to formulate the question helps you better communicate answers to questions. This communication practice and tool can be used to become a better communicator in most any verbal communication style.   Effective Verbal Communication For Entrepreneurs is truly easy. It allows you to make your future as successful as you desire and improves all areas of life.

It is getting out of our own way and more so you can reset how we think and think for success. I give examples in my own life, in other people’s lives, and then I show how you can successfully re-record or reset your mind set. (I do this with each part of my systems, process, and strategic planning) I used to build million dollar health practices in the 1980’s and early 90’s. It’s about experiencing a millionaire mindset, not reading how ‘they’ think it’s doing the process that builds millionaires but the by experiencing that mindset by resetting your beliefs and creative thinking. After all in the end it’s not making millions it’s what a person becomes on the journey that is the real gold. That is what this process does, it builds leaders and people of character. Knowledge is uncovering your expert talents. Everyone has knowledge and in this day and age you must separate your product or service from the pack. We take what is unique about your knowledge and we craft it into your celebrity expert status. It’s more involved than this and it’s a lot more than branding which is only a very minor part of the plan. We are talking about leadership skills, and building character.
