Facebook Engagement Can Be Increased By Incorporating Photos!

Facebook

I heard this and thought I would put it to the test and you know what it’s true. People like images most on Facebook. If you are using Facebook as apart of your business finding ways to get more Facebook engagement can be tricky. Unearthing ways to market your product or business are extremely important, especially in the virtual world. We’ll focus on FB in this post since each social media venue is different in how you market to your feed.

Key Facebook Traffic Boosters

There are 3 ways that you can increase your Facebook engagement and it includes using photos. These are not just any photos, but rather photos of your business and what it entails if you are a physical location. Should you have products yet be an online store or info product images are really important.

Most people have found that successfully marketing and driving traffic to their Facebook means posting pictures of what their business looks like and represents. Take it a step further and use images with quotes on them. These need to fit your market or the ‘mood’ you represent.

Integrate Instagram with your page – By using Instagram as an integrated part of your Facebook page you are allowing users to see what goes on behind the scenes. People like to know what you and your business is about and there is no better way to show that than providing pictures of what you do. Now a word of caution. That holiday party photo of you with your arm around your receptionist doesn’t belong on the web even if she is your daughter.

Attach images to link posts – You will probably find that people aren’t responding to your Facebook posts is there is just a boring link. Facebook engagement is all about reaching out to your potential customers. If they see that your page is boring and nothing but links to your blog they will probably leave as soon as they get there. Remember it’s important to remove the serp or description of your blog post these days as Google looks at that as spamming or duplicate content. The bottom line, it’s not best practices.

Include a screenshot of your content – You can increase Facebook engagement by showing your potential followers a screenshot of your blog content. By doing this people will be able to see what your blog or business is about with just a quick glance. While it’s not guaranteed to increase Facebook engagement, it will definitely help your potential customers see what you may have to offer them. A special note here. because this is an image not a live post, you aren’t blowing it with the whole duplicate content problem.

Finally what type of engagement gets seen by more people on Facebook? Images for sure followed by video and finally text. For more on why this is look at our post on Facebook Edge Rank.
