Do We Naturally Have Optimistic Thoughts?

What we think we feel and how we feel and think is what we attract in our life.  Is your glass half full or half empty?  If it’s only half full, then you need to start doing things differently and start thinking more optimistically.

Why Our Thoughts And Feeling Are Important

Optimism is the alternative reaction to what life throws at us every day.  Worry, stress, disappointment, change whether we like it or not can have us thinking negatively in a Nano second if we don’t proactively change the way we react to life.  Optimism boosts confidence giving us the ability to face and tackle anything thrown our way. Seven ways to accomplish optimistic thinking and acting are:

  1.  Think positive mental pictures of your life; where you have come and where you are going.  A mini movie of your life replayed over and over again.  Get excited about your life.
  1. Stop whatever you’re doing in life that isn’t working.  If what you’re doing isn’t working, then do something different. Get into the solution, stop focusing on the problem.
  2. Move in the direction of the solution and goal and count every achievement no matter how small.
  3. Find your inner critic and quiet that voice.  Inspire the inner cheerleader and embrace that positive energy to boost you when no one else is available to cheer for you.  Focus on what you want.
  4. Recognize the things you have done well on a daily basis.  Little pats on the back each and every day.

  2. Reduce the distractions that take you away from your optimistic goals and dreams.  Minimize the time spent on social media, and save phone calls to friends until the end of the day.  Stay focused, and you will accomplish more.
  3. Take care of your soul, and that includes proper nutrition, sleep, exercise, and mental down time.  If you want to win like a star athlete you have to train like one.  Taking care of your body mentally and physically is just as important in business as it is in sports.

Keeping optimism at the forefront of your life will keep negative energy from sabotaging your goals and dreams.
